Pregnancy Advisory Service (PAS) is a private & confidential service offering social terminations of pregnancy (ToP), it is a NHS led service offering confidential consultations and counselling for women of all ages seeking an abortion or ToP. The UK limit for terminations is approximately 24 weeks. The service is for all pregnancies dated to a maximum gestational age of 17+6 weeks. Any later pregnancies, above 17+6 weeks, we will see and refer on to another provider. Pregnancy with gestation over 17+6 weeks are referred to BPAS, we cannot currently provide ToP for over this gestation. The process requires a compulsory initial consultation to be booked in advance, with the procedure taking place a few days later. We do not offer a walk-in service. We offer both surgical and medical terminations based on medical conditions and patient preference. We take self-referrals using our Booking Line, Family Planning, GP, Marie Stopes, British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) and internal referrals.
