Contraception

All contraception is free on the National Health Service. There are a wide variety of contraceptive methods available so do discuss the best method for you with a medical practitioner, either at your local sexual health clinic or with a nurse or doctor at your local GP practice. The only form of contraception that will prevent STIs is the consistent and correct use of condoms. To ensure you are protected against STIs, it is advisable to use condoms with ALL other methods of contraception.

To find your nearest sexual health clinic visit Local Services.
